New Zealand 41 : Wales 3

Outplayed, outclassed and overpowered. Gutted.

The main mitigating factor was the absence of seven first choice players, but then losers are often found making such excuses. While Wales may be the current dominant force in Northern Hemisphere rugby, the South appear to be in a league of their own.

Are New Zealand the best in the world? Only after the 2007 world cup will we know for sure. In terms of the current tour though, it is difficult to see anyone beating them.

As I said on my blog, I had to have chocolate.

I thought NZ would win but I didn't expect such a rout (right word?)

Good defence in the first half but couldn't be expected to keep that up. Very little else to say really.

All Blacks are awesome.

But I'm still crying inside!

Let's hope Fiji do make us feel better, particularly as I will be there having my first ever millenium stadium experience.

I hope your predictions about South Africa and Australia are right Rob. To lose to all three would be a disaster for us.

Liz, I too ate lots of chocolate yesterday, and that was just breakfast.

Do France play NZ?

We may be in-bred, but we are still 2005 Grand Slam champions!

While this isn't about rugby, I thought you'd want to know... Last saturday (November 5th) was the 50th anniversary of Doc Brown's discovery of time travel, when he realised the answer was the flux capacitor.

This saturday (as if you didn't know) marks 50 years since lightning struck the Hill Valley clock tower.

Re: in-breeding. Half our team are from New Zealand anyway. Ask Gavin Henson.

Anticipating this evening with some ...well, anticipation. Not to mention dread. No, it'll be fine. Won't it?

Emjoy the Millennium Experience, Jon.

Dan, thanks for the info, but yes, I did already know. It has been tradition for some years now in my family to celebrate that first time travel journrey by dressing up as characters from the films and exchanging presents. This year I got given my very own flux capacitor!
